The Magnolia State School Counselor Association is soliciting proposals for our in-person conference September 28 - September 30, 2026 at the Sheraton Refuge in Flowood, Mississippi. Sessions will be sixty minute break-outs promoting evidence-based programs in the domains of academic, college and career readiness, and social/emotional development highlighting the latest techniques and practices in school counseling. Presentations need to showcase proven programs, current research, or skills of value to counselors (Pre-K to post-secondary) as well as district personnel, graduate students, and school counselor educators.

• Submit this proposal, including a resume/CV for each presenter, by April 17, 2026. Proposals of a political, marketing, or for-profit nature will NOT be accepted.
• You will be notified by May 8, 2026 with the committee's decision regarding your proposal.
• This form is for only one presentation proposal. You may complete and submit additional proposals in a separate form. Each person may only present twice, no matter if a primary presenter or co-presenter. Limit of three total presenters per session.
